We  have  been in   business  since  1983  specializing in  ferns and camellias.

Eleven years  before  his  retirement from  the  airlines in 1994, Hal  Vanis began a plant business in Henderson, Texas that is now in its thirty-sixth year of operation.  The  predominant crop is Boston and Kimberly Queen ferns, but he also grows camellias , which are his favorite flowers.  Hal  has competed in  camellia shows in Texas and Louisiana over the past  several years and has won many top prizes for his camellia blooms.

A variety  of other plants grown by Lupe Oviedo are also available, including  bougainvilleas and  mandavillas.  Hal loves what he does , does it well, and wants his customers to always be satisfied with plants purchased from Flying V Greenhouse.
